Gophers Unveil Fall Softball Schedule

Minnesota returns to Jane Sage Cowles Stadium six times this fall
MINNEAPOLIS - University of Minnesota softball head coach Piper Ritter announced Tuesday morning Minnesota's 2023 fall schedule. Fans will have six chances to see the Maroon and Gold in action at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium.
The Golden Gophers kick off their fall slate with a double header against Minnesota Duluth on Saturday Sept. 23. Game times are set for 1 and 3 p.m. On Sept. 24, Minnesota will face off against the Gopher Softball Alumni at noon. The following weekend, the Maroon and Gold will host St. Cloud State on Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. The Gophers will play against St. Thomas on Oct. 6, at 5 p.m., followed by a doubleheader on Oct. 8 against Iowa State and NDSU with first pitches coming at 12 and 4 p.m. Minnesota's fall season concludes against Concordia at 5 p.m. on Oct. 13.
Minnesota finished the 2023 season with a 38-19 record, finishing third in the Big Ten. The Maroon and Gold made an appearance at the Seattle Regional, securing their 10th-straight NCAA Tournament appearance and 17th time in program history.
