Gophers Set for Windon Memorial Monday

Maroon and Gold will travel to Northfield, Ill. for second tournament of fall season.
MINNEAPOLIS - After a week off from competition, the University of Minnesota men's golf team travels to Northfield, Ill., to compete in the Windon Memorial.Â
A two-day, 54-hole event, the Windon Memorial will be hosted by Big Ten foe Northwestern and is set to take place Monday and Tuesday at Sunset Ridge Country Club.Â

The Lineup:
The Maroon and Gold will be represented by graduate seniors Brock Winter and Jacob Pedersen, senior Ben Warian, junior Bennett Swavely and sophomore Mason Roloff.Â
The Field:Â
The Gophers will face off against conference rivals Indiana, Michigan State, host-Northwestern, Purdue and Wisconsin, as well as East Tennessee State, Kent State, Little Rock, Marquette, Memphis, North Florida, Notre Dame,South Florida and UC Davis.
Last Time Out:
The Gophers finished in a tie for fifth at the season-opening Gopher Invitational with a team score of 3-over par (287-280-288–855). Warian and Eduardo Galdos led the team as they finished in a tie for 11th place with a 36-hole score of 1-under par.
