MINNEAPOLIS – Minnesota freshman Grace Grocholski has been honored by the Big Ten for the second time this season as the conference's Freshman of the Week for her performances last week against Indiana and Michigan State.Â

Grocholski led the way offensively against Indiana with 19 points on 8-of-9 shooting from the floor. In the win over Michigan State Grocholski helped hold the Spartans to 50 points, 38.5 points under their season average, with the Spartans 50 points being the least points scored against the Gophers since 2009 (44). Against MSU Grocholski chipped in 11 points while also adding six rebounds, four assists and a steal in the 69-50 victory at Williams Arena.Â
