Isabella McCauley Named Big Ten Golfer of the Week

MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota junior Isabella McCauley was named Big Ten Conference Golfer of the Week on Thursday, the league announced. It is her first time taking home the award this season and the fifth in her career.
"I am really proud of Bella and the hard work and dedication she puts in," said head coach Matt Higgins. "This is so well deserved and a great way for her to cap off a very successful fall season!"
McCauley was crowned champion of the Ron Moore Intercollegiate with a tournament score of 66-68-68-202 (-14), breaking the Gophers' all-time 54-hole record. McCauley's opening round 66 was bogey-free and she shot par-or-better on 50 of 54 holes at the Highlands Ranch Golf Club in Highlands Ranch, Colo. She led Minnesota to take home first place out of a field of 81 golfers.
