Chi in Sixth Place After Day One of Tommie Invitational

STILLWATER -- Three members of the University of Minnesota women's golf team have completed day one of the Tommie Invitational held at Stoneridge Golf Course in Stillwater, Minn. Competing as individuals, freshman Jordana Windhorst-Knudsen and juniors Ruby Chi and Madison Le closed out 36 holes of competition Monday.Ā
ĀChi ended the day in sixth place with a two-round score of 76-75-151 (+7). She nabbed four birdies and 24 pars across rounds.Ā
ĀFreshman Jordana Windhorst-Knudsen grabbed three birdies and 20 pars. SheĀ ended the day in 17th place with a score of 80-80-160 (+16).
ĀMadison Le finished day one in 29th place with a score of 88-81-169 (+25). She tallied two birdies and 17 pars during the two rounds.Ā

The Trio of Gophers will play the final 18 holes of the Tommie Invitational tomorrow, Oct. 15. Play will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
