Isabella McCauley Named to Final Fall ANNIKA Award Watch List

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Haskins Foundation announced Tuesday that Minnesota junior Isabella McCauley (Inver Grove, Heights, Minn.) was one of 25 individuals named to the final fall watch list for the 2024-25 ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel, given annually to the top female NCAA Division I golfer.
Ranked 30th nationally, she played a stellar fall season for the Gophers where she placed in the top ten at all four team events. McCauley earned one individual win at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate after breaking the program's all-time 54-hole record (202). She played five of her twelve fall rounds in the sixties and posted nine total under-par rounds.
McCauley holds the Gophers' career low scoring average (72.44) in 63 rounds played during her first two years in Maroon and Gold. In her career with Minnesota, she was crowned 2023-24 Big Ten Champion and competed individually in the NCAA Championship finals in both her freshman and sophomore seasons.

About the ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel:
Created in 2014, the ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel is annually given to the top female Division 1 collegiate golfer; the winner voted on by players, coaches and members of the college golf media. Named for Annika Sorenstam, the award was created in partnership with the Haskins Foundation to acknowledge the top female golfer and to match the Haskins Award presented by Stifel, which acknowledges the top male Division I collegiate golfer. Ingrid Lindblad (LSU) became the 11th ANNIKA Award winner in 2024.
