ST.PAUL - Two second half goals would be the difference in Minnesota's  (12-5-3, 6-3-2 B1G) win over South Dakota State (16-4-2, 5-2-1 Summit League) on Friday evening at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium.
Â
Sophia Boman scored both goals of the match, the first coming in the 48th minute off free kick assist from Paige Kalal and Kate Childers. The second coming off a penalty kick in the 55th minute.Â
Â
These goals mark Bomans sixth and seventh goal of the season.Â
Â
The Jackrabbits found some life midway through the second half but Sarah Martin came up with a huge save to keep them scoreless. She ended the night with four saves.
