2024 Dawn Plitzuweit Basketball Camps Registration Now Open

MINNEAPOLIS – Gopher women's basketball head coach Dawn Plitzuweit will hold her second annual basketball camps in June, at the University of Minnesota. Registration is now open online for the Girls Skills Camp (June 16) and the Girls Day Camp (June 17-19).
 
Options are available for girls of two different age groups. Each camp is held at the University of Minnesota campus and is led by the women's basketball coaching staff.
 
The Girls Skills Camp is for individuals entering grades 7-12 and will be held on June 16. The Girls Skills Camp offers serious athletes the chance to compete against the best and learn from the best. This camp is designed to assist each camper in each facet of their game and to give the tools necessary to continue to improve and get better after camp. Includes a camp t-shirt with the registration fee being $125 per camper. 
 
The Girls Day Camp for individuals in grades K-7 will be held from June 17-19. The Girls Day Camp is designed to help players of all skill levels improve their game through fundamental work on offensive and defensive basics including ball handling, shooting, defense, and rebounding. Along with developing solid individual fundamental skills, each camper will participate in individual competitions as well as team competitions. Each camper will receive instruction from college coaches and college players and learn in a positive and fun environment. Includes a camp t-shirt and camp basketball. Registration is $225 per camper.

Camps are open to all entrants, limited only by numbers, grade level and gender. Please note that in accordance with NCAA rules, an athletic booster or other representative of the University of Minnesota's athletics interests may not pay for any expense (Registration fee, travel, lodging, etc.) related to a prospective student-athlete's participation in a sports camp or clinic administered by the University of Minnesota or any of its coaches or staff members.
