Gophers Return to Action for The Bruzzy

MINNEAPOLIS -- The University of Minnesota women's golf team is set to compete in The Bruzzy from March 30-31 in Ardmore, Okla. The 13 team event is hosted by the University of North Texas.
The two-day, 54-hole, stroke play event takes place Saturday and Sunday at the Dornick Hills Golf & Country Club. Round one will begin on Saturday, March 30 with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. CT. Round two will begin immediately following round one. The final round will take place Sunday and begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. CT.

Lineup:
The Maroon and Gold will be represented by sophomore Isabella McCauley, graduate Grace Curran, senior Hailey Loh, and graduates Megan Furtney and Emma Carpenter.
The Field:
The Gophers will be competing against No. 8 Arkansas, No. 28 Purdue, No. 44 North Texas, Charlotte, FIU, Kent State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Tulsa, UTSA, and Wisconsin.
The Course:
The event will be played at Dornick Hills Golf & Country Club. The course was finished in 1923 and is considered to be one of the most historically significant golf courses in the region. The course plays as a par 70 and is 6,071 yards.
Looking Ahead:
After the conclusion of The Bruzzy, Minnesota will travel to Columbus, Ohio for the Therese Hession Buckeye Invite on April 13 and 14.
