Augustine Lands B1G Track Athlete of the Week Honor

Second honor of the outdoor season
ROSEMONT, Ill. – Devin Augustine from the University of Minnesota men's track and field program was named the Big Ten Conference Track Athlete of the Week Thursday following his record-breaking performance last weekend.
An NCAA All-American a year ago, Augustine continued his terrific junior season by setting a school record (10.02) in the 100m at LSU April 20, taking home an event victory. His time ranked No. 3 by an NCAA Division I athlete this season and broke Kion Benjamin's previous school record of 10.07 from 2022.
The Point Fortin, Trinadad & Tabago, native also won the men's 200m with a time of 20.98, which placed him at No. 10 in school history. Augustine also won B1G Track Athlete of the Week on April 10, 2024, after setting a Minnesota program record in the 200m.
