Isabella McCauley Completes Round Two of NCAA Championship

CARLSBAD, Calif. -- University of Minnesota sophomore Isabella McCauley (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) wrapped up her second round at the NCAA Women's Golf National Championship today. McCauley shot a six-over-par (78) and sits tied for 101st place headed into tomorrow's elimination round.
The sophomore tallied one birdie and 11 pars across 18 holes today. She has a two-day score of 74-78-152 (+8).
"Another tough setup today that caused some issues," said head coach Rhyll Brinsmead. "But again, we're very proud of how Bella handled herself and we're excited for another round tomorrow."
Adela Cernousek (Texas A&M) leads the competition individually with a two-day score of 136 (-8). Texas A&M also leads the team leaderboard at 565 (-11) after two days of play.

Round three of the NCAA National Championship will begin tomorrow, Sunday May 19. McCauley will tee off at 10:52 a.m. CT. The top 15 teams and nine individuals not on an advancing team will play in a fourth round on Monday, May 20, to crown the individual national champion.
