Warian Garners All-Region Nomination

MINNEAPOLIS - Minnesota senior Ben Warian has been selected to the 2024 NCAA Division I Men's Ping All-Region Team, the Golf Coaches Association of America Announced Saturday.
This is Warian's first time being selected to the All-Region team, and he is the first Gopher to do it since his former teammate, Angus Flanagan, was selected three consecutive years (2019-2021).
A native of Stillwater, Minn., Warian was selected to the NCAA Regional in Stanford, Calif., where he claimed second-place in the individual race, securing him a spot in the NCAA Champioships.
Named to the All-Big Ten Second team, Warian tallied 11 top-20 finishes this season, including medalist honors at the High Meadows Intercollegiate, where he set the program's 36-hole scoring record (128), 54-hole scoring record (198) and led the Gophers to their first tournament win since 2022.
In his 12 stroke play events this season, Warian led the team in scoring average (70.00), rounds under par (8), score to par (-15), and low round of 18 (63).
Warian finished the 2024 season ranked inside Scoreboard's official men's division I golf rankings, coming in at No. 95.
This is Warian's final year of eligibility. He will look to the professional golf world after his time at Minnesota has come to an end.
