Gopher Baseball Set for 2025 Karbach Round Rock Classic
Minneapolis – The 2025 season is set to get off to a hot start as the team is set to participate in the 2025 Karbach Round Rock Classic in Round Rock, Texas.

In 2024, the "U" went 25-23 (11-13 Big Ten) which tied them with Michigan State for ninth in the Big Ten. The ninth-place finish is the highest since tying for third back in 2019. The 2024 Gopher baseball team hit more home runs (68) than any other team in the program since 1999.

The event is set to take Feb. 21-23, 2025, at Dell Diamond Rock in Round Rock, Texas. The round-robin style tournament will bring four high level NCAA Division 1 teams to compete over the three-day period.

The Gophers will be participating in this sixth annual event alongside the Oklahoma Sooners, Oregon State Beavers, and the Virginia Cavaliers.

Hosted by Peak Events, LLC, is in partnership with Karbach Brewing Company, Go Round Rock, and the Round Rock Express.
The 2025 Karbach Round Rock Classic will host four of the country's top teams over three days of play at Dell Diamond, which serves as the home of the Texas Rangers' Triple-A affiliate, the Round Rock Express. The weekend tournament will have two games per day in a round-robin format.

"The Karbach Round Rock Classic is one of the signature tournaments in all of college baseball and we're thrilled that it will be returning to Dell Diamond in 2025," Express Assistant General Manager of Sales Stu Scally said. "We can't wait to welcome these four teams to Round Rock and show them what our community is all about."

All six games are set to be broadcast exclusively via D1Baseball.com. Each day's match ups will be announced at a later date.
