MINNEAPOLIS -- The University of Minnesota men's and women's cross country programs have announced its 2024 fall competition schedule. The season, which runs from August 30 to November 13, includes three home events, one of which is the 38th Annual Roy Griak Invitational on September 20.

Both programs will begin the season on Friday, August 30, when the Gophers host the Oz Memorial. From there, Minnesota will enjoy nearly three full weeks before its next competition, the Roy Griak Invitational. The program will then split up between the Loyola Lakefront Invitational in Chicago and the Blugold Invitational in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on October 4.

Two weeks after traveling to Chicago, the Maroon and Gold travel to the NCAA Pre-Nationals meet at the University of Wisconsin on Saturday, October 18. Minnesota's final regular season event will be Rocky's Run on Friday, October 25.

The 2024 Big Ten Cross Country Championships will be held at Illinois on November 1. Minnesota begins NCAA competition on November 15, at the NCAA Midwest Regional and follows that up with the NCAA Championships on November 13. The regional will be held on the campus of Bradley while the championship is hosted in Madison by the University of Wisconsin.
