Women's Golf Announces 2024-25 Schedule

MINNEAPOLIS – The University of Minnesota women's golf team officially announced its 2024-25 schedule Wednesday. The Golden Gophers will compete in ten different tournaments this season, including one home event.
The team will begin its fall campaign on Sept. 2 at the Boilermaker Classic in West Lafayette, Ind. This two-day event will be hosted by Purdue University at the Kampen Course.
Less than a week later, the Maroon and Gold will return home to compete in the ANNIKA Intercollegiate presented by 3M. The lone home tournament of the season is set to be played at The Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minn., from Sept. 9-11.
Following the ANNIKA Intercollegiate the Gophers will hit the road and head to East Lansing, Mich., to compete in the Mary Fossum Invitational hosted by Big Ten foe Michigan State. The event will be held on Sept. 22-23 at Forest Akers West Golf Course.
A trip to Highlands Ranch, Colo., will round out the 2024 fall season. This three day event takes place Oct. 4-6 at Highlands Ranch Golf Course.
The Gophers will kick off the spring 2025 season with a trip to Rio Grande P.R., for the Puerto Rico Classic held at the Grand Reserve Golf Course from Feb. 2-4.
The team will hit the road for a familiar tournament, the Westbrook Invitational, from Feb. 23-24 in Peoria, Ariz. The team shot its second best 18-hole score in school history last season and the second best 54-hole score in school history in spring of 2023 at the Westbrook Invitational.
The Maroon and Gold will travel to the Briars Creek Invitational from March 10-11 in Johns Island, S.C. After a few weeks off, the team will cap off March in St. Augustine, Fla., at the Coach Mo Classic.
Minnesota ends the regular season right back where it started, in West Lafayette Ind., for the Boilermaker Spring Classic held at the Ackerman-Allen Golf Course.
The Big Ten Championship will return to Havre De Grace, Md., and the Bulle Rock Golf Course. The 54-hole tournament will take place Apr. 18-20 with Isabella McCauley set to defend her conference title.
The Golden Gophers return three golfers from last year's team, in addition to welcoming back Luisamariana Mesones and adding transfer Madison Le, along with freshman newcomer Reese McCauley.
