Gopher Men’s Golf Announces 2024-25 Schedule

MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Minnesota men's golf team officially announced its 2024-25 regular season schedule. The Gophers will compete in 11 tournaments across both the fall and spring seasons.
The Maroon and Gold will open the fall by hosting the 19th annual Gopher Invitational at Windsong Farm Golf Club in Independence, Minn., to be held September 8-9.
Later in September, the Gophers will travel to Lincoln, Neb., to compete in the GitRDone Invitational hosted by Big Ten foe-Nebraska, September 23-24 at Firethorn Country Club.
Just one week later, Minnesota will travel to compete in a tournament hosted by conference-rival Wisconsin at the Badger Invitational at University Ridge Golf Course. The three-day, 54-hole event will take place September 29-October 1.
The Gophers will also send three golfers to the Tommie Invitational, which will be held September 30-October 1 at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Stillwater, Minn.
The Maroon and Gold then heads to the west coast to compete in the Alister Mackenzie Invitational, hosted by the University of California-Berkeley. It will take place at the Meadow Club in Fairfax, Calif., October 7-8.
Rounding out the fall season, the Gophers will head to Vero Beach, Fla., to compete in the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational October 13-14. The tournament is hosted by B1G-foe Michigan State and will be held at Quail Valley Golf and River Club.
Minnesota begins the spring season in Puerto Rico at the Puerto Rico Classic February 10-12 at Grand Reserve Golf Club in Rio Grande.
After a three-week break, the Gophers will travel to Bluffton S.C., to compete in the Colleton River Collegiate. The event takes place March 2-3 at the Colleton River Club on the Nicklaus Course.
The Maroon and Gold will head back west, as they co-host the Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate with crosstown neighbor St. Thomas in Litchfield Park, Ariz. The Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate will be held at Wigwam Golf Club March 24-25.
After a week break, the Gophers compete in the Hawkeye Invitational, hosted by Big Ten rival Iowa, at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City, Iowa. The two-day tournament will take place April 12-13.
The Robert Kepler Invitational rounds out the spring season, as the Maroon and Gold visit Columbus, Ohio, April 18-19 in their final tournament of the regular season.
The 2025 Big Ten Championship is slated for April 25-27 at Baltimore Country Club in Baltimore, Md.
The Gophers concluded the 2023-24 season with seven top-ten finishes, including a win at the High Meadows Collegiate.
To the Future:
The Maroon and Gold added three freshmen, Jack Crousore, Ryan Stendahl, and Chun-Ta Wu for this season, while also returning seven golfers from the 2023-24 campaign.
