Big Ten Women’s Basketball Schedule Revealed for 2024-25 Campaign

Minnesota opens its conference slate on December 8.
MINNEAPOLIS – The 2024-25 University of Minnesota women's basketball conference schedule has officially been unveiled by the Big Ten Conference, it was announced on B1G Today on Thursday. The conference slate features nine home contests and nine road games that begins for the Maroon and Gold on December 8, against Nebraska.
Fans can guarantee their seats to all the team's home games by purchasing season tickets on GopherSports.com. Single-game tickets will be available to season ticket holders starting on September 24 at 9 a.m. and will be available to Gopher Score at 1 p.m. The public can purchase single-game tickets starting on September 26, at 9 a.m. Additionally, tipoff times, TV/streaming coverage and a full promotions schedule will all be announced at later dates.
In total nine of Minnesota's 18 Big Ten games are against 2024 NCAA Tournament teams with three of those being at home. Minnesota's conference season begins with three matchups in December with the first being a road game on December 8, against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Twenty days later on December 28, Minnesota plays its first home Big Ten contest of the season against the Nittany Lions of Penn State and then travels to Wisconsin to round out the 2024 calendar year on New Year's Eve, December 31.
The month of January features a total of seven Big Ten games for the 'U', starting with Illinois and Rutgers at home on January 5 and January 8. Maryland plays host to the Gophers on January 14 with Northwestern hosting Minnesota in Evanston just five days later on January 19.
Minnesota returns home on January 22 to take on the Michigan Wolverines, with the second Border Battle matchup with Wisconsin slated for January 26, at Williams Arena. The month of January is capped off with the program's first road trip to Southern California to take on USC on January 30 with the Gophers remaining in the state of California for a matchup with UCLA just a few days later on February 2.
Upon returning home Minnesota is welcomed by home matchups with two NCAA Tournament teams, Iowa and Indiana. The matchup with the Hawkeyes is scheduled for February 6, with the Hoosiers coming to the Barn on February 9.
The Golden Gophers head to Columbus, Ohio, to take on the Buckeyes on February 13, with Oregon following that back in the Twin Cities on February 16. The month of February then concludes with a road game against Purdue on the 19th and then Washington at home on February 26.
The regular season for Minnesota ends on March 1, with a road contest against the Michigan State Spartans.
