MINNEAPOLIS - Freshman goaltender Hannah Clark has been named to the 2025 National Women's Goalie of the Year Watch List, the Hockey Commissioners Association (HCA) announced Tuesday.
The Watch List features 33 goaltenders across the country who could vie for the title of 2025 National Women's Goalie of the Year, an award created in 2021 to recognize the top female goaltender in NCAA Division I hockey.
In her first collegiate year between the pipes, Clark holds a 13-3-1 record. The Oshawa, Ontario native has recorded 347 saves in 18 game appearances and currently holds a .916 save percentage. She recorded her first-career shutout in Minnesota's 5-0 win over St. Thomas on Dec. 6.
Clark was named WCHA Goaltender of the Week on Nov. 18 after going 2-0-0 against No. 4 Minnesota Duluth. Throughout the series against the Bulldogs, Clark made a season and career-high 58 saves, also recording a .950 series save percentage. Clark also recorded her single-game high of 31 saves in Nov. 16's 3-2 victory against Minnesota Duluth, the most by any Gopher goaltender in a game all season.
The 2025 National Women's Goalie of the Year will be announced during the NCAA Frozen Four in March.
