MINNEAPOLIS – University of Minnesota women's golf head coach Matt Higgins has announced that Regan Dusenbery (Wichita, Kan.), Susanna Manns (Russellville, Ark.) and Rose Solberg (Fargo, N.D.) have signed scholarship agreements and will join the Golden Gophers program in 2026.
"I am so proud to welcome this next recruiting class," said Higgins. "These ladies are not only talented athletes, but also remarkable people. They exemplify the core values of what it means to be Gophers in the Women's Golf program! They each bring tremendous talent on the course and an even greater presence to our culture!"
Dusenbery joins the Gophers following a standout career at Andover High School in Kansas. She set the all-time individual season scoring record with an average of 70.8 and was a four-time First Team All-Class and All-Metro selection, as well as a four-time Class 5A All-State honoree. Dusenbery captured three 5A Regional Championships, finished as state runner-up in 2023 and 2024, and claimed the 2025 Individual 5A State Championship. A multi-sport athlete, she also earned two varsity basketball letters and boasts a 4.25 cumulative GPA.
"Regan is a tremendous multi-sport athlete who can hit the cover off a golf ball," Higgins said. "Her athleticism is off the charts."
Manns, from Russellville, Ark., brings a decorated competitive record and strong leadership to Minnesota. She is a three-time individual and team state champion, a two-time Arkansas Junior Match Play Champion, and has earned six top-10 AJGA finishes during her junior career. Off the course, she was a member of the National Honor Society and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and also competed in track and field.
"Susanna is a great athlete whose résumé speaks for itself," said Higgins. "She has a great mentality on the course that comes natural to her. She will have no problem transitioning to college golf."
Solberg joins the Maroon and Gold from Fargo, N.D., where she compiled several accomplishments. She was named the 2025 North Dakota Class A Powerade Senior Athlete of the Year and set the Class A season scoring average record at 71.1. Solberg is a six-time All-State and All-Conference honoree and has earned 21 high school tournament victories, including the 2022 Class A Individual State Championship. She also claimed titles as the 2023 and 2025 Russ Newman Medalist and 2024 North Dakota State Junior Medalist. In addition to her success on the course, Solberg maintained a 4.1 GPA and was active in Student Council, DECA, and the North Dakota Association of Honor Societies.
"Rose is so talented! She is a great ball striker and has tremendous strength," Higgins said. "Rose has all the skills to quickly make the jump to the next level."
