15 Gophers Earn WCHA All-Academic Team Honors

MINNEAPOLIS - Fifteen Golden Gopher women's hockey players are part of the 129 student-athletes selected to the 2024-25 WCHA All-Academic Team, presented by Sterling Trophy, the conference announced Tuesday.
Josefin Bouveng, Emma Conner, Allie Franco, Peyton Hemp, Ella Huber, Sophia Johnson, Madison Kaiser, Elly Klepinger, Nelli Laitinen, Ava Lindsay, Abbey Murphy, Maggie Nicholson, Lauren O'Hara, Skylar Vetter, and Audrey Wethington make up the list of Golden Gopher honorees.
The WCHA All-Academic Team includes student-athletes from all eight institutions who have completed one year of eligibility at their present school, prior to the academic year, and have a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in the previous two semesters or three quarters.
The WCHA All-Academic Team is selected with the help of the Faculty Athletic Representatives from each of the member institutions.
