MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota junior golfer Isabella McCauley is set to begin competition at the 2025 Augusta National Women's Amateur tomorrow, April 2. This is the first time in the event's history that a Gopher will represent the Maroon and Gold in the prestigious event. McCauley will be one of 33 players making their debut in the competition.

The Inver Grove Height, Minn., native will join a field of 72 women amateurs to compete over 54 holes of stroke play. The opening 36 holes will be played on the Island and Bluff nines at Champions Retreat Golf Club. The Island nine is an Arnold Palmer design and will serve as the first nine, while the Bluff nine, designed by Jack Nicklaus, is the second nine. A cut will take place after 36 holes, advancing the leading 30 players and ties to the final round, which will take place at Augusta National Golf Club.
