Gopher Men’s Basketball Set to Compete in the 2025 Acrisure Series

The University of Minnesota men's basketball team announced it will compete in the 2025 Acrisure Series, Nov. 25-28. The Multi-Team Event (MTE) will take place in Palm Desert, Calif., at Acrisure Arena in the heart of Coachella Valley.
Specific dates, matchups, broadcast information and the rest of the field will be announced at a later date. This is the third year of the event.
Minnesota is one of 11 teams already announced for this tournament, with six additional teams set to be confirmed soon. Previous teams announced for the event are Tulsa, Northern Iowa, Stanford, Washington, Santa Clara, San José State, CBU, San Diego, Nevada, and Loyola-Chicago.
It marks the second time in five years the Gophers have played in a California-based tournament. The last was the 2022-23 season, when Minnesota participated in the SoCal Challenge in November 2022.
