Gopher Swimmer Joey Tepper Makes US Worlds Team

MINNEAPOLIS- Graduate student Joey Tepper made the US Worlds Team after his incredible 10K Open Water swim at the 2025 USA 10k National Championship, which took place in Sarasota, Fla. this past weekend. 
 
Tepper placed second among Americans and fourth overall with a 1:53:41.
 
He will now race at stop number two of the Open Water Swimming World Cup in Ibiza later this month.
 
Fellow Gopher Luke Brennan placed in the top 20 (17th) in his first ever 10K with a time of 1:59:16.
