Evenson Named Director of Scouting and Analytics

University of Minnesota head men's basketball coach Niko Medved has completed his staff with the addition of Drew Evenson as Director of Scouting and Analytics.
Evenson joined the Gopher men's basketball program as a student manager before the 2022-23 season and was elevated to head manager in 2023. As head manager, the Holmen, Wis. product assisted with daily operations for the student-athletes and staff, as well as film breakdown and analytics. Evenson graduated from the University of Minnesota in May of 2025 with a bachelor's degree in sports management.
Evenson is the third former Gopher manager to land a full-time position with the program. He joins Medved and assistant coach Aaron Katsuma as former managers to full-time Gopher men's basketball roles.
