Minnesota hosts Marquette at home on Thursday and travels to face Brown on Monday
MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Minnesota women's soccer team looks ahead to a split weekend, hosting Marquette on Thursday and traveling to face Brown on the road Monday.

Scouting Marquette
Marquette is off to a 3-1 start this season. The Golden Eagles picked up wins over Northern Illinois, North Dakota State and Milwaukee. They fell to No. 21 Wisconsin, 2-1, on Sunday.
Six Golden Eagles have each scored one goal. The team is led by Emily Fix, who has three points to start the season. Fix scored and recorded an assist against North Dakota State.
Minnesota holds a 7-2-1 record over Marquette in the series dating back to 1993. The Gophers have won the last three meetings, scoring a combined seven goals while not allowing a Marquette goal.
Scouting Brown
Before facing Minnesota on Monday, the Brown Bears will travel to face UConn. The Bears are off to a 2-0 start, defeating New Haven and Rhode Island to begin the season.
Joy Okonye and Ayla Sahin each have two goals on the season. Okonye leads the Bears with five points.
In 2024, Brown traveled to Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium and tied the Golden Gophers, 1-1. Minnesota outshot Brown 13-4 as a team.
