Tracy Named to Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List

Receiver enrolled at Minnesota in January and has two years of eligibility remaining
MINNEAPOLIS - Minnesota wide receiver Javon Tracy was named to the 2025 Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club (TQC) Foundation, Inc.
The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the college football season's outstanding FBS receiver. Any player, regardless of position, who catches a pass is eligible for the award. As such, the Biletnikoff Award recognizes college football's outstanding receiver, not merely college football's outstanding wide receiver.Â
Tracy is in his first year with the Maroon and Gold after spending the previous three seasons at Miami (Ohio). He played in 29 games at Miami and made 79 catches for 1,166 yards and nine touchdowns.Â
In 2024, he played in 13 games and had 57 receptions for 818 yards and seven touchdowns. Tracy played in 14 games in 2023 and caught 22 passes for 348 yards and two scores. He redshirted in 2022 after playing in two games.Â
Tracy, who was named First Team ALL-MAC in 2024, enrolled at Minnesota in January 2025 and has two seasons of playing eligibility remaining.Â
Tracy and the Gophers start the season on Aug. 28 when they host Buffalo at Huntington Bank Stadium.Â
