It marks the first time the Gophers will face an opponent for the second time this season. The Gophers and Badgers faced each other just 15 days apart, as the Badgers won on a buzzer-beater three-pointer for the 78-75 final Jan. 13.
• Minnesota is looking to get back into the win column and snap a five-game streak after falling 76-57 to then-No. 7 Nebraska Saturday. Seeking a third home win this season over a nationally-ranked opponent, Minnesota led 40-32 early in the second half. However, a 21-4 run put Nebraska up 53-44 with 10:00 left. The Gophers narrowed the gap to 53-48, but a 14-0 run from Nebraska sealed the game and kept the Huskers undefeated.
• Bobby Durkin scored 16 points against Nebraska. Jaylen Crocker-Johnson had 12 points and eight rebounds. Cade Tyson added 12 points and five rebounds. It was Durkin's sixth double-digit game this season and his highest point total in Big Ten play. Crocker-Johnson recorded his 18th double-digit point game, and ninth in B1G play. Kai Shinholster also scored a career-high eight points in the game.
• Cade Tyson has reached double-figures in all 20 games this season. Against USC, he added his ninth game with 20-plus points, and has two with 30-plus. • Langston Reynolds scored seven points in the Nebraska game, surpassing the 1,000th career point, now at 1,001. Reynolds scored 789 points with Northern Colorado and now has 212 with the Gophers this season.

Wisconsin trailed 41-30 early in the second half, but the Badgers used a 14-0 run to take a 66-57 lead with 7:27 left.
