School Record Falls and All American Honors Earned on Final Day of NCAA Championships

ATLANTA, GA. – The University of Minnesota men's swimming and diving program closed out the final day of competition at the 2026 DI Men's Swimming and Diving Championships tonight, recording a new school record and tallying a pair of All-American honors to bookend the 2025-26 season.
Jacob Johnson tallied his second career All-American honor with a fourth place finish in the 200 fly. After breaking the school record in this morning's preliminary round to qualify for the "A" finals, Johnson broke his own record again with a personal best of 1:39.20 in the finals to close out the championships.
Drew Bennett also recorded his second career All-American honor today. Bennett tallied a 376.60 in this morning's preliminary round of the 10-meter platform, securing him a 10th place finish overall and an All American Honorable Mention.
