Minnesota’s Isabella McCauley Named B1G Golfer of the Week

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Minnesota senior Isabella McCauley was named Big Ten Conference Golfer of the Week Thursday, the league announced. It is her first time taking home the award this season and sixth in her career.
"Great for Bella to get this leading into the Big Ten Championships," said head coach Matt Higgins. "This is so well-deserved as she played so well last weekend."
McCauley was the medalist at the Boilermaker Spring Classic with a tournament score of 72-68-72—212 (-4), her second top-three performance of the season. McCauley capped off the weekend with a tournament best of 11 birdies over 54 holes. She was one of three golfers to shoot under-par at the Ackerman-Allen Golf Course in West Lafayette, Ind. She led Minnesota to a fifth-place team finish by securing the win in the team's last regular season tournament.
