Minnesota will compete in a six-team tournament at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya
MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Minnesota women's basketball team has accepted an invitation to participate in the 2026 Cancun Challenge from Nov. 26-28 at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya.
Confirmed teams joining the Golden Gophers in the six-team Riviera Tournament include Kansas, Miami (OH), and Washington State with two programs still to be confirmed.
Additional team announcements, scheduling details, ticket information, and broadcast information will be released on the event website as the field is finalized: Cancun Challenge.
