Golden Gopher Fund to Hold Member Appreciation Day on September 19

The Golden Gopher Fund will hold its annual Member Appreciation Day on Sept. 19 when Minnesota hosts Akron in football. Throughout the game, Gopher Athletics will proudly recognize Golden Gopher Fund members for their generosity and support of Gopher student-athletes.
"Every contribution to the Golden Gopher Fund makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our student-athletes," said Thomas O. Moe Director of Athletics Mark Coyle. "As the cost of providing a world-class student-athlete experience continues to grow, the commitment of our Golden Gopher Fund members allows Gopher Athletics to remain a national leader while helping our students succeed in competition, in the classroom and in life."
Golden Gopher Fund members can purchase discounted tickets to the game HERE. Ticket prices are 20 percent off the public rate.
Gameday events will begin prior to the 11:00 a.m. kickoff in Gopher Garden presented by Huntington Bank, located just outside Huntington Bank Stadium, with an opportunity to claim a complimentary member appreciation reversible bucket hat. Members will be able to visit the Golden Gopher Fund booth beginning at 8:30 a.m. Please show your membership gift ticket to a staff member to receive your bucket hat. Supplies are limited with a max of two per ticket.
Members are also invited to register to participate in our on-field recognition during the game. A select group of members will be selected to represent all Golden Gopher Fund supporters. Members can also claim a postgame field pass for a photo opportunity on the field at Huntington Bank Stadium. Eligible members will receive an email from the Golden Gopher Fund with instructions on how to register to participate in these activities and instructions to download their member gift ticket.
The Golden Gopher Fund spearheads fundraising efforts for Gophers Athletics with gifts of all sizes directly impacting the lives of all Gopher student-athletes. Golden Gopher Fund donations provide student-athletes the opportunity to compete in their sport at a high level, while preparing them to be leaders in their communities after athletic careers have concluded.
