2016-17 Senior Season: Team Captain - Academic All-Big Ten - Jean Freeman Award recipient - outstanding student-athlete awardÂ - posted a first place finish (2:03.72) in the 200-yard backstroke against North Dakota - finished 25th place (54.54) at the Big Ten Championships in the 100-yard breaststroke - finished 25th (2:00.97) in the 200-yard IM at the Big Ten Championships - notched 29th place (1:58.57) in the 200-yard backstroke at the Big Ten Championships - posted six second-place finishes in the 2016-17 season.

2015-16 Junior Season:Â Academic All-Big TenÂ -Â At the 2016 Big Ten Championships, Holmquist finished 25th in the 100 back, 30th in the 200 back and 33rd in the 200 IM - Notched 27 top-five finishes during the regular season - Advanced to finals in the 200-meter back at the 2015 Arena Pro Swim Series at Minneapolis - Placed first in the 100 back, 200 back and 200 IM in the Minnesota win at North Dakota.

2014-15 Sophomore Season:Â Academic All-Big TenÂ -Â At the 2015 B1G Championships, Holmquist finished 32nd in the 200 back, 35th in the 100 back and 63rd in the 50 free (2/19-2/21) - Finished 1st in the 50 back and 3rd in the 200 free at the 2015 Minnesota Challenge (2/7) - At the B1G Triple Dual, Holmquist placed 3rd in the 200 back and 5th in the 100 back (1/30-1/31) - Finished 5th 200 back and 4th in the 50 back and the 100 back at N.C. State (1/23-1/24) - Placed 1st in the 100 back at Hawaii (1/7) - Holmquist finished 16th in the 200 free and 9th in both the 100 free and 200 IM at the 2014 Jean K. Freeman Invite (12/5-12/6) - At the 2014 Arena Grand Prix at Minneapolis, she placed 21st in the 200 back, 14th in the 100 back and 46th in the 200 free (11/20-11/22) - Placed 3rd in the 50 back, 4th in the 100 back and 6th in the 200 back at Florida (11/8) - Finished 2nd in the 50 back, 7th in the 100 free, 4th in the 100 back and 5th in the 200 back against Iowa (10/31) - Placed 1st in the 50 back against North Dakota (10/24) - Holmquist took 3rd in the 100 back and 5th in the 200 back vs. Wisconsin (10/17) - Finished 4th in the 100 back and 2nd in the 200 back at Arizona State (10/4).

2013-14 - Freshman Season: First-year letterwinnerÂ -Â Placed 35th in the 200 backstroke (2:00.70), placed 13th in the 100 backstroke (54.85), and placed 47th in the 50 free (23.55) at the Big Ten Conference Championships (02/20-02/22) - Placed 6th in the 200 free (1:54.94) at the Minnesota Challenge (02/08)- Placed 9th in the 200 backstroke (2:04.94), completed the 50 backstroke with a time of 26.69, and finished the 100 backstroke in a time of 56.50 vs. Purdue and Wisconsin-Madison (01/31-02/01) - Finished the 50 backstroke with a time of 26.67,placed 5th in the 200 backstroke (2:05.28), and placed 6th in the 100 backstroke (57.19) vs. NC State (01/24)- Finished the 50 backstroke with a time of 26.60, placed 18th in the 100 free (54.17), finished the 100 back with a time of 57.34, placed 10th in the 200 free (1:55.95), and placed 9th in the 50 free (24.58) at the Jean Freeman Invitational (12/06-12/07)- Finished the 100 backstroke with a time of 55.11, placed 5th in the 200 backstroke (2:00.65), placed 3rd in the 100 backstroke (54.93), and finished 12th in the 200 free (1:54.17) at the Minnesota Grand Prix (11/14-11/16).

High School: Graduate of Milton High School (2013) - swam for high school team under instruction of Tom Lieder and Jenny Quade - earned academic letter and varsity letter for swimming - was named All-Conference from 2009-2012 - received All-State four consecutive years from 2009-2012 - member of the National Honor Society - graduated on the High Honor Roll - Academic All-American - member of the Fort Atkinson Swim Team - entering her freshman season with times of 55.98 in the 100 backstroke and 2:01.89 in the 200 back.

Personal: Born April 13, 1995 - daughter of David and Debbie Holmquist - has one younger brother Ben, and one sister Abby who is a swimmer at the University of Vermont - cousin, Joe Price, plays football at Harvard University - plans to major in math.
