2016 - Redshirt Junior Season: Named team co-captain - named Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten honoree - recorded a career-best 6K time of 25:43.51 at the Tori Neubauer Invite.

2015 - Redshirt Sophomore Season: Did not compete.

2014 - Redshirt Freshman Season: Did not compete.

2013 - Freshman Season: Redshirted the 2013 cross country season and the 2014 indoor and outdoor track & field seasons.

High School: A 2013 graduate of Minnetonka High School - part of two first-place relays that helped propel Minnetonka to the 2013 state track and field title - won the 4x800m and 4x400m relays, setting a school record (3:53.03) in the 4x400m prelims - 4x400m also earned all-state honors in 2011 - 2013 Lake Conference champion in the 4x400m, and runner-up in the 4x800m - lettered in cross country as a senior.

Personal: Born September 13, 1994 - daughter of Lisa and Matt Haakenstad - was a high school teammate of current Gopher Megan Bailey - has one brother, Mark - majoring in neuroscience - enjoys piano, traveling, camping, mission work, and hanging out with friends and family.
