CAREER: Announced on Dec. 27, 2021, that he was forgoing his remaining eligibility after the Guaranteed Rate Bowl and declaring for the 2022 NFL Draft • played in 42 career games • made 87 tackles (59 solo) • totaled 19.5 tackles for loss and 15 sacks (ranks ninth all-time in school history) • forced three fumbles and broke up three passes. 

2021 SENIOR SEASON: Started nine of 13 games • made 34 tackles (26 solo) and led team in tackles for loss (10) and sacks (7) • forced one fumble. Game-by-Game: Notched three tackles and one quarterback hurry against Ohio State • recorded four tackles and one quarterback hurry against Miami (OH) • made two tackles, both for a loss, and two sacks at Colorado • registered three tackles, including two tackles for a loss, and two sacks against Bowling Green • totaled five tackles, including two tackles for a loss, one sack and one forced fumble at Purdue • made one tackle for a loss against Nebraska • started against Maryland • notched two tackles, including one sack and one tackle for a loss, at Northwestern • recorded four tackles, including one tackle for a loss, against Illinois • had one tackle at Iowa • made three tackles at Indiana • registered two tackles and one quarterback hurry against Wisconsin • made four tackles, including one sack, against West Virginia in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl.

Game-by-Game: Made two tackles, which included one sack, against Michigan • totaled four tackles, broke up one pass and recorded 0.5 sacks at Maryland • made six tackles, carded two sacks and forced one fumble at Illinois • broke up one pass and made four tackles against Iowa • registered four tackles, one sack and one forced fumble at Nebraska • made seven tackles (all solo), including one tackle for loss, at Wisconsin. 

2019 SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in all 13 games • recorded 14 tackles. 3.5 tackles for loss and three sacks. Game-by-Game: Saw action against South Dakota State and Fresno State • tallied three tackles including 1.5 for loss and one sack against Georgia Southern • made one tackle against Purdue • competed against Illinois • notched three tackles against Nebraska • tallied four tackles against Rutgers • competed against Maryland and Penn State • recorded a sack for a loss of nine yards at Iowa • made one tackle at Northwestern • competed against Wisconsin • notched one sack for a loss of six yards against Auburn at the Outback Bowl. 

2018 FRESHMAN SEASON: Played in 10 games • recorded 12 tackles. Game-by-Game: Broke up one pass in his collegiate debut against New Mexico State • saw action against Miami (OH), Ohio State, Nebraska and Indiana • recorded a tackle at Illinois • assisted on first career sack and notched four tackles against Purdue • saw action against Northwestern and Wisconsin • tallied a career high six tackles in Quick Lane Bowl victory against Georgia Tech.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attends Hopkins High School in Minnetonka, Minn. • wore No. 8 for the Royals • as a senior, made 78 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and four sacks • named to the 2016 Vikings MFCA All-Star Team and earned KARE 11 All-Metro Defense honors • received All-State Second Team Defense honors • as a junior, recorded 40 tackles, three tackles for loss and one sack • Scout and 247 sports gave him three stars, while Rivals gave him two • Scout ranked him the No. 1 defensive end in Minnesota, the No. 76 player at his position and as the No. 108 prospect in the Midwest • 247 Sports and Rivals both ranked him as the No. 5 recruit in Minnesota • coached by John DenHartog • also lettered in track and field.
