First-Team Kansas Large School All-State honors as a defensive end earned all-state honorable mention honors as a junior ? First-Team All-Sunflower League both as a tight end and defensive end following both his junior and senior seasons ? Kansas City all-metro selection as a senior and an honorable mention all-metro choice in 2009 ? recorded 103 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, four sacks and seven forced fumbles as a senior ? coached by Aaron Barnett.
