High School/Club: Graduate of Appleton North High School, where he swam for Scott Stepanski • set school records in the 100 fly with a time of 49.62 and the 100 back with a time of 49.94 • named Scholastic All-American • four-time WIAA All-State performer: in the 100 fly (twice), 100 back and 200 free • USA Today Northeast Wisconsin Swimmer of the Year • club coach was Curt Beutler.
