Received the Minnesota Integrity Award as a senior ended his college career with 78 wins which ranks him 47th all-time along with Brandon Paulson and Brad Gibson in Minnesota history went 11-3 overall and 3-0 in dual matches finished the year 1-0 in the Big Ten, defeating Wisconsin[apos]s No. 11 Eric Bugenhagen 3-2 recorded two pins and two major decisions finished fourth at the Kaufman-Brand Open after pinning Anderson Dondricus at 2:40 and majored Kosta Karageorge 14-4 handed David Morgan of Cal State Bakersfield a 9-3 decision and Cal-State Fullerton[apos]s Kurt Klimek 7-1, in December picked up three wins at the Southern Schuffle earned his fourth letter.

Finished regular season with three pins, a major decision and a tech fall started 13 dual meets as a redshirt freshman, including eight in Big Ten competition pinned NDSU[apos]s Justin Lagosh at Northern Quad (11/24) in 3:55 narrowly lost to No. 5 David Zabriske of Iowa State during Williams Arena dual meet (12/2) lost by only one point (6-5) to No. 14 Jon May of Nebraska shut-out Michigan starter Chad Bleske 5-0 at National Duals (1/13) won 11-0 major decision against Purdue[apos]s Chris Kasten (2/11) during Gophers[apos] dual meet win five of last six opponents regular season opponents were ranked, including four top-10 wrestlers beat Penn State[apos]s John Laboranti and Purdue[apos]s Kasten before qualifying for first-ever NCAA Championships with a sixth-place finish at first-ever Big Ten Championships in Minneapolis went 1-2 at 2008 NCAA Championships, defeating Army[apos]s Nathan Thobaben in the consolation round.
2006-07 REDSHIRTED:
Went a perfect 8-0 in three early season open competitions as a heavyweight had two pins crowned co-champion with perfect 3-0 record at Bison Open (11/11) with fellow Gopher heavyweight freshman Joe Nord won first two decisions at Kaufman-Brand Open (11/18) before being forced to forfeit final three matches due to medical reasons co-champion again at Worthington Open (1/20) with Nord, posting 3-0 record, including one pin.
HIGH SCHOOL:
A 2006 graduate of Albert Lea High School head coach was Larry Goodnature was the eighth-ranked heavyweight in the country according to InterMat asics Honorable Mention All-American as a senior two-time all-state selection 2006 Minnesota State Champion at 285 pounds compiled a 47-2 overall record on the season finished second in state as a junior three sport all-conference performer in high school also competed in football and baseball participated in the MSHSL All-Star Football Game last June.

Majoring in religious history son of Brian and Nancy Berhow born June 9, 1988 enjoys hunting and fishing during his time away from the mat.
