Posted an 8-16 record on the season at 184 went 2-9 in dual meets and 1-7 in Big Ten duals won one match by fall and two by major decision went 1-6 against ranked competition went 1-2 at the Big Ten tournament, and did not place unseeded at the Big Ten Tournament, opened with a win in the pigtails over Eric Cameron of Indiana before falling 4-14 to No. 10 Phil Keddy of Iowa and 2-3 to Nick Palmieri of Michigan State closed regular season with a 3-12 loss to No. 10 David Erwin of Penn State on 2/19 lost 4-9 to No. 12 Phil Keddy of Iowa on 2/14 dropped 1-3 SV decision to Eric Cameron of Indiana on 2/6 fell 6-18 to No. 2 John Dergo of Illinois on 2/5 lost 2-3 to Nick Corpe of Purdue of 1/31 lost 3-5 to No. 16 Travis Rutt of Wisconsin on 1/29 scored lone Big Ten win by 6-5 decision over Hunter Collins of Michigan on 1/23 lost 3-7 to Nick Palmieri of Michigan State on 1/22 went 1-1 at the National Duals with a injury forfeit win over No. 12 Mike Miller of Central Michigan and a 4-13 loss to Max Askren of Missouri lost 0-4 to No. 12 Jerome Ward of Iowa State on 1/3 went 0-2 at the Southern Scuffle placed second at the Dragon Open with a 3-1 mark, falling 7-8 to Phil Moenkedick of Concordia in the Championship match placed fourth at the Bison Open with a 2-2 mark, falling to Mic Berg of St. Cloud State in the championship match earned second letter.

Put together a solid 19-6 record as a redshirt and won a pair of tournament titles wrestling at 174 pounds Went 4-2 and finished sixth at season-opening Daktronics Open A 3-2 performance was good enough for fifth at the Bison Open (11/10) Recorded two pins on his way to a 3-1 record and second place finish at the Kaufman-Brand Open (11/17) Defeated Wisconsin-Eau Claire[apos]s Joey Miller and took home his first tournament crown following a 4-0 showing at the Husky Open (12/8) Jumped up to 184 pounds and recorded a pin over Norther Illinois[apos] Hamza Rashid to finish third at Flash Flanagan (1/5) Recorded two pins at the Worthington Open before dispatching St. Cloud State[apos]s Lucas Menkelwitz in the championship bout to claim his second tournament title of the year (1/19).
HIGH SCHOOL:
Native of Tenstrike, Minn. attended Bemidji High School earned all-state accolades twice during career at Bemidji, including a third-place finish at 171 pounds as a junior 2004 USA Wrestling Greco-Roman champion (160 lbs.) at the Cadet level in 2006 runner-up at same event in Freestyle competition as a junior, finished runner-up at the 2006 Las Vegas Western Regionals in both Greco-Roman and Freestyle competitions four-time state tournament participant was undefeated senior season before suffering an injury that prevented him from competing in the state tournament in addition to six wrestling All-Conference awards, also earned four more in football for the Lumberjacks.
