Dianne Ficenko

Dianne Ficenko began working in the U of M Athletics Department in 1981. She served as the administrative assistant for the Gopher baseball program for 24 years and was an instrumental part of the baseball program’s signature events, the Pro-Alumni Game and the Dairy Queen Classic.
A key contact for the “M” Club throughout her career, Dianne was also the administrative assistant for the women’s golf program and the tech services unit, while helping to coordinate many Wheel Club events.
Ficenko died in a car accident in January, 2005.
