Swimming: 1993-96
Bernie Zeruhn earned 17 All-America honors in his career, the second-most for any swimmer in Minnesota history. He set school records in the 200, 500 and 1,000 freestyle, as well as the 200 fly. He captured three Big Ten individual titles in 1996, winning the 200 and 500 freestyle and the 200 butterfly. While conquering competition in the pool that year, Zeruhn also earned Academic All-American status.
