Ticket Information | The University of Minnesota women's gymnastics team is set to compete against the Florida Gators, Denver Pioneers, Mizzou Tigers, BYU Cougars and Ohio State Buckeyes on April 2 at the NCAA Regionals. The meet will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the Sports Pavilion.
The top two teams from the regional, along with the top All-Around gymnasts from the non advancing teams will receive an automatic berth to the NCAA Championships which are in Fort Worth, Texas on April 15-16. Additionally, event winners will advance to the Championships on their respective events if they are not a part of a qualifying team or an All-Around qualifier.
All-Around competitors at the Minneapolis Regional will be Hayley Young, Meaghan Sievers of Iowa State, Kara Witgen and Jamie Lewis of Air Force and Courtney Pickett of Wisconsin-Whitewater will be an alternate.
Individual Event Specialists at the Minneapolis Regional will be Sydney Converse (Iowa State), Briana Ledesma (Iowa State), and alt. Sara Townsend (Iowa State) on Vault - Alex Marasco (Iowa State), Converse and Sarah Neumann (Air Force) on Beam - Hilary Green (Iowa State), Mackenzie Smith (Wis-Whitewater) and alt. Amy Enright (Wis-La Crosse) on Bars - and Ledesma (Iowa State), Kelsey Paz (Iowa State) and alt. Courtney Middelkoop (Iowa State) on Floor. |
