Athletic Medicine
The Athletic Medicine Department is part of the Health and Performance Department within Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Minnesota. There are 20 full-time Certified Athletic Trainers on staff that manage the healthcare needs for Gopher Student-Athletes. The Athletic Trainers work closely with team physicians, physical therapists, Athletic Performance staff, Sport Psychologists, Sports Nutrition staff, and multiple allied healthcare professions to provide comprehensive healthcare.
