University of Minnesota Athletics

Black Student-Athlete Association

The student-athlete leadership of BSAA strives to create a family atmosphere where student-athletes of all cultures, skin tones, and backgrounds can come together, be themselves, and build meaningful connections. There will be no strict agenda, just familiar faces, a little music, and an opportunity to relax, connect, and enjoy each other's company.

Throughout the school year, we will host monthly meetings and events designed to build community and encourage engagement among student-athletes across the entire athletic department. These gatherings are a chance to meet new people, strengthen relationships, and create a welcoming environment for everyone.

To stay informed about upcoming meetings, events, and opportunities, find one of our Executive Board members or Kennedy and ask to be added to the GroupMe. This is where we will share updates and announcements throughout the school year.
