Staff and Community Partner Volunteer Request
To request student-athlete volunteers for an upcoming non-profit event or community service activity, please email TheLINK@umn.edu with the name of the event, date & time, and details outlining what student-athletes will be asked to do as volunteers.
Please note:
- Student-athlete volunteers may not miss class for any MAGIC event.
- Student-athlete volunteers must consent to the use of their name, image, and likeness.
- Any indication that student-athlete volunteers will be compensated for their participation by an outside organization could be subject to review by the Office of Compliance.
Community partners play a special role in cultivating the Golden Gopher experience for student-athletes by providing meaningful service opportunities, which helps shape student-athletes as individuals and reinforces the importance of giving back to the community.
Please note: All M.A.G.I.C. program community service activities and events are voluntary for student-athletes. None of the service events are mandatory.
