May 6, 2023 - Gopher Baseball Champions Day
Gopher Baseball Alumni,
Once again in 2023, we are planning to celebrate the proud history and tradition of Golden Gopher Baseball. On May 6, 2023, Minnesota will host the Michigan Wolverines at Siebert Field. We plan to honor the 1973 Big Ten Championship and College World Series team on their 50-year anniversary. We will also honor the 1983 Big Ten West Division Champions on their 40-year anniversary and the 2003 Big Ten Champions on their 20-year anniversary.
We plan on hosting a pre-game tailgate reception at 4 p.m. in the Athletes Village Courtyard and honoring the teams before the game at 6 p.m. Family members of all alumni are welcome to attend and will be provided free admission to the game. Additional details and the entire itinerary will be sent as we get closer to the event.
Please see the RSVP form for the event. If members of these three championship teams would reach out to your teammates and pass the details of the event on to them and encourage them to attend, that would be helpful in getting the word out.
