>> Minnesota finished 2023 with a 6-7 record, 3-6 Big Ten record and the program’s fifth bowl game appearance under Coach Fleck.
>> The Golden Gophers defeated Bowling Green, 30-24, in the Quick Lane Bowl for the program’s seventh straight bowl victory, which is a Big Ten record. Minnesota is tied with Georgia for the nation’s longest bowl win streak.
>> Minnesota defeated eventual Iowa, 12-10, on Saturday, October 21 to claim Floyd of Rosedale and its first win in Iowa City since 1999. It also marked the first time since 1993 the Gophers possessed Floyd and Paul Bunyan’s Axe.
>> Safety Tyler Nubin earned first-team All-American honors after a season in which he became the program’s all-time leader with 13 career interceptions.
>> Dragan Kesich became the first Gopher since 2016 to be named the Bakken-Andersen Big Ten Kicker of the Year. His 23 field goals made in 2023 rank second in school history.
