2024-25 Women's Basketball Year in Review

>> Despite a pair of season-ending injuries early in the season, Minnesota rebounded to finish the 2024-25 season with a 25-11 record and 8-10 in the Big Ten. The 25 wins are the most in 20 years.
>> The Golden Gophers captured the program’s second postseason title after defeating Belmont in the championship game of the WBIT in Indianpolis.
>> Junior Amaya Battle earned honorable mention All-Big Ten accolades after leading the team in assists and steals and ranking second in scoring. She also became the program's first Academic All-American since 2021.
>> After earning all-freshman honors a year ago, Grace Grocholski was named honorable mention All-Big Ten after leading the team in scoring as a sophomore.
>> Tori McKinney was named USBWA National Freshman of the Week after scoring 31 points in Minnesota’s Big Ten home opener. She was named WBIT MVP after scoring 26 points in the title game against Belmont.
