2025-26 Women's Swimming & Diving Year in Review
>> Minnesota wrapped up the 2025-26 season with a sixth-place finish at the Big Ten Championships and 16th-place showing at nationals. It was Minnesota's best finish at the NCAA Championships since 2019.
>> Elna Widerstrom was named Big Ten Diver of the Year after winning the Big Ten 1-meter springboard title and becoming a two-time All-American at nationals. Wenbo Chen was named Big Ten Diving Coach of the Year for the 11th time in his Gopher career.
>> Vivi Del Angel wrapped up her career with three more All-America citations at the NCAA Championships. She added a Big Ten title in 2026 to match her 2024 national championship in platform diving.
>> Katie McCarthy captured her first All-America honor when she placed 11th in the 1650 freestyle at nationals.
