2026 Softball Year in Review
>> The Golden Gophers finished the 2026 season with a 16-36 record and 7-17 Big Ten mark and qualified for the Big Ten Tournament.
>> Senior Maggie Werner capped her Golden Gopher career with a team-leading .311 batting average with nine doubles, five home runs, 18 RBIs, and a .426 on-base percentage. She was also recipient of the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.
>> Senior Sydney Schwartz led Minnesota in the circle and ranked in the top 10 in the Big Ten in strikeouts, complete games, shutouts and opponent batting average.
