2024 | JUNIOR Made 15 appearances, including 13 starts · led the team and was second in the Big Ten with a 2.77 ERA and eight wins · led the team with 78.0 IP (8th in B1G) and 74 strikeouts (6th in B1G) · allowed just 24 earned runs (4th in B1G), 35 total runs (9th in B1G) and 12 extra-base hits · one of nine players in the Big Ten to pitch a complete game in 2024 · became the first Gopher since 2019 to be named First Team All-Big Ten. 2023 | SUMMER Wietgrefe played in the Northwoods League for the St. Cloud Rox this summer · pitched 18.2 innings in the regular season, striking out 31 batters with a 2.89 ERA · made one appearance in the playoffs, pitching 6.0 innings and striking out three to pick up the win. Game Highlights: Picked up a save in 2.1 innings of work, striking out four, allowing no hits, runs or baserunners vs. Minot (May 29) · struck out four in 2.2 frames, allowing one hit and no earned runs vs. Mankato (June 4) · pitched 6.0 innings, striking out nine batters and allowing only one run in a loss vs. La Crosse (August 4).

2023 | SOPHOMORE Made 22 appearances, posting a 2-3 record with five saves and a 3.83 ERA out of the bullpen · struck out 58 hitters (bullpen-high) with just 19 earned runs allowed in 44.2 innings pitched · walked 19 and allowed just 33 hits as opponents hit a measley .205 off of him. Game Highlights: Posted six strikeouts in 3.2 innings vs. New Mexico, allowing four hits and one earned run (Feb. 20) · tossed a shutout inning with a punchout vs. Saint Louis (Feb. 25) · went 2.0 innings, striking out one and allowing one earned run vs. Hawaii (March 3) · threw 1.1 shutout frame vs. Vanderbilt (March 5) · struck out the side in 1.0 inning at West Virginia (March 11) · had three K's in 2.0 shutout innings in a team win at Ohio State (April 2) · tallied four punchouts in 2.2 shutout frames in a win over Purdue (April 9) · struck out three in 3.0 shutout innings vs. Iowa, leading to a Minnesota victory (April 14) · punched out six in 3.0 innings of shutout work vs. St. Thomas, picking up a save (April 26) · had seven K's in a season-long 4.1 innings of work, allowing just three hits and two earned runs at Nebraska (April 30) · earned his first win after striking out two and allowing just one earned run vs. Michigan in 2.1 innings (May 6) · tallied 1.1 innings of shutout work vs. Michigan (May 7) · had his best outing of the season, going 4.0 shutout innings with seven strikeouts, two hits and no walks in a win at No. 19 Maryland, picking up his fourth save (May 12) · earned Big Ten Pitcher of the Week after his performance at Maryland · posted his fifth save of the year after striking out two in 3.1 innings of work, allowing just one earned run vs. Rutgers (May 18) · picked up a win after pitching 0.1 inning in an 8-7 win over Rutgers to clinch the series (May 19).

2022 | FRESHMAN (NIACC) Made 13 appearances, including seven starts, going 5-1 with a 5.05 ERA · tallied 59 strikeouts in 46.1 innings, giving up 26 earned runs · averaged 11.46 K's per nine innings · also picked up one save and tossed one complete game · threw a complete game shutout on April 27 vs. Ellsworth CC, striking out nine and allowing just four hits.
